About Us

Rick Wolfer is the President/CEO of Global Trip Support LLC., a company that offers domestic and international flight support services. 
 
Rick grew up in an aviation household, in his early childhood years he spent many a weekend accompany dad to Oakland International Airport, and SFO Helicopters.  Upon graduating from high school Rick went directly into the U.S. Air Force which was the beginning of 21 years of military services.  As a senior NCO Rick spent six years with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), attached to the Defense Attaché' Office (DAO) in Seoul, South Korea and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  His responsibilities included an ongoing working relationship with the US State Department, White House Travel department, and White House & Air Force One advance teams.  During his tenure with DIA Rick’s flight operations responsibilities afforded him the opportunity to meet Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Jimmy Carter; Vice President Al Gore as well as U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Warren Christopher, and James Baker; and a host of other distinguish Senators, Congressman, and Ambassadors.   Prior to DIA Rick worked spent 15 years in various flight operations positions such as dispatch, scheduling, and flight management resources.  Rick is a Gulf War veteran.
 
Upon retiring from the U.S. Air Force in 1997 Rick has been employed by Air Routing International, BaseOps International, Jeppesen Data Plan, and Universal Weather & Aviation as an International Operations Coordinator, Account Executive, and Sales Representative.  Most recently Rick was the Director of Flight Coordination for Vulcan Flight Operations and Charter Ops Manager for Corporate Flight International, Las Vegas.
 
Rick holds an FAA Dispatchers License, Graduate of Defense Intelligence College, and has a B.S. in Aviation Management.
 
Rick is married to Aileen, they have three grown daughters, and two grand children.
